HAS ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE CORRODED HUMAN INTELLIGENCE?

It roughly took 10,000 years to go from writing to printing press, but only about 500 more for the emails to come. It is the age of AI , where machine starts learning by themselves and everything is fully automated. New branch in computer science like machine learning, computer vision , neural network, algorithms , big data etc, are siblings of AI . We are really at the dawn of a new age.

Artificial Intelligence or AI is a branch of computer science dealing with the simulation of intelligent behaviour in computers.

Has it really corroded our intelligence?

Not at all. Now a days people are concerned about AI that it will replaces human. It will certainly never replace humans. In fact it will enhance their capabilities.

Today many sectors are taking the help of AI . Most of the automations we see are largely due to AI.

How AI will enhance human capabilities?

AI, with inherently extraordinary efficiency, can perform tasks in seconds. AI has both accuracy and efficiency. It deals with big data which is a challenge for a human brain. We don’t have to teach a machine; it will learn by itself. So, this is the beauty of AI. Thinking about AI feels like science fiction movies dreams come true.

Here are few excellent applications of AI:

  • In health care AI helps in many ways. It reduces the time of treatment. It makes diagnosis easy and seamless. From here we also conclude that AI has not corroded human intelligence rather it enhances human intelligence.
  • When someone conducts a new research it needs to analyse big data . So AI here analyses it very easily. It gives fast result with accuracy.
  • By introduction of AI in insurance sector settlements of insurance claims will become very fast. Here AI settle all the claims with excellent alacrity.

So, these are the daily life examples by which we can easily say that the AI has not corroded human intelligence.

Conclusion: As AI is a whole emerging new branch of science. What it can do no one can exactly say but it does not corrode human intelligence, it only enhances it.
